Tong Sunday School
Tong Sunday School meets every Sunday afternoon during term time in the Tong Mission House from 3pm till 4.15pm. It is open to all children in the village from P1 to S2. We are together in the Mission House at the start for a prayer and singing, then we split into 5 classes according to age group and do excellent fun lessons with excellent fun teachers! Some classes meet in the portacabin and bits of work are sometimes displayed there. Just before 4pm we gather together again to find out what each class has been learning and we sing some more.
In the summer we have a great picnic day out, usually to a beach. When we've got enough money the older children sometimes get a 2 day camp in Uist which is always fantastic. And in the Christmas holidays we have a party of course! Twice a year there's a service for families - summer prize giving and at Christmas. All welcome - come and join us!
